Auto-bidding, which comes as a result of being able to place a max bid, is intended only for your convenience, if you desire it.
If you don't want auto bids, then make sure what you place as a bid is exactly the minimum bid you can enter. For example, if the minimum bid is $201, then enter exactly $201.
The only time auto bids are placed on your behalf is if you enter a bid that's more than the required minimum bid. Doing this indicates you are willing to bid more, if need be, and want DPW to do it for you, as required, for your convenience. |
